Cassandra Yee is a second-year doctoral student in the UC Berkeley’s School Psychology program. Cassandra received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Arizona, where she was a fellow in the UROC-AWARDSS Fellowship program that enabled her to analyze data examining variation in adolescent reporting of bullying in schools. Additionally, prior to joining the UCB team, Cassandra worked for a local organization as a peer leader in a psychosocial intervention for young girls in Tucson, Arizona. Her research interests include investigating academic performance and social and emotional well-being of Latinx populations with high adverse childhood experiences through a systematic approach. Additionally, she is also interested in teacher well-being, self-efficacy, and racial competencies.
