SHUXIANG GUO

Shuxiang Guo was a postgraduate student at UCL majoring in Education and International Development. She has completed her bachelor’s at Renmin University of China. After graduating, she worked as a research assistant at Beijing Normal University on some school-based policy analysis projects. Her past research projects included the effect of maternal absence on children’s learning outcomes and eating disorders among teenage girls. Currently, she is working on the relationship between left-behind children and school bullying. Shuxiang’s research interests are children’s development, social identity cognition, and family interaction, especially regarding gender and social and economic inequality.
