Jin Hyung Received Two Student Research Grants

We are excited to announce that Jin Hyung, our lab’s doctoral student, has been awarded the NASP Graduate Student Research Grant ($1,000) and the UC Berkeley Center for Race and Gender Student Research Grant ($500)!

His awarded proposals focus on:

1. Transformative Social and Emotional Learning (TSEL) Competencies as Job Resources for Teachers of Color: Their Associations with Teacher Well-Being and Classroom Management, and

2. Understanding Teachers’ Transformative Social and Emotional Learning (TSEL) Competencies: A Comparative Analysis between Racial/Ethnic Minority and Non-Minority Teachers.
