Yijing Zhang is a doctoral student in the School Psychology program at University of Maryland, College Park. Yijing received her B.S. in Psychology at Salem State University and Yunnan Normal University, and her MSW in social work at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During her master’s study and her experience serving as research assistant after graduation in Hong Kong, she led and assisted research projects focused on meta-analysis methodology. Outside of research, she worked as a social emotional learning (SEL) training teacher for young children in an early learning center in mainland China. Her research interests include teacher-student relationships, social-emotional learning, peer conflict/bullying and social problems, and promoting positive childhood experience.
