ANITA WEI

Anita Wei is a junior in Richard Montgomery High School’s International Baccalaureate magnet program. She has a weighted GPA of 4.89 and has taken over 10 AP and IB courses. Over the summer, she worked at an immigration office centered around trauma-informed education and social justice. During her time there, she led a personal project to increase student literacy for newly arriving international students, translated for Spanish and Mandarin-speaking families, and helped create English testing resources. She also has experience with social media marketing for nonprofit organizations, school clubs, and businesses. Anita is interested in the socio-cultural factors that affect development, marketing, and international relations. 

In our lab, she plays an active role in supporting the Co-Learn Code and Mind Project as a youth-led organization leader.
