Jennie Greenstein is a third-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at UC Berkeley. Before joining the UCB team, Jennie graduated in 2019 from Washington University in St. Louis where she studied psychology and education. After earning her B.A., she worked at UC Santa Barbara’s Center for Mindfulness and Human Potential as a post-baccalaureate research fellow. Her primary research interests revolve around social-emotional learning, and she is especially interested in how a system-level approach to SEL interventions can benefit students, teachers, and families. Jennie is currently working with Dr. Valerie Shapiro in the Social Welfare department on a research project evaluating a systematic county-wide school-based mental health and wellness initiative in a large California county.
